A Glasgow pensioner who began using the Food Train charity service after ending up in hospital malnourished has said the axing of council funding is 'horrific'.
Walter Izatt has motor neurone disease and is housebound, relying on Food Train volunteers bringing him his weekly shopping.
The charity, which delivers food and support to at least 200 elderly people each week, is set to close within the next ten weeks after it's funding through the Glasgow communities fund has been axed.
