Police Scotland is now appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact them to help with their enquiries.
Constable McConnachie, Shettleston Police Station, said: “The incident was reported to police on Sunday, 16 April, so unfortunately, we did not get the chance to speak to people who were in the area at the time and who came to the aid of the woman.
“Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. We are checking CCTV and have been making local enquiries but would ask anyone who saw what happened or who has any information about the incident to come forward.
“We would be keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage from the car park or street around that time.
“All we are aware of at the moment is that the car was green in colour and a hatchback. Whether the driver was aware that they had struck the woman has still to be confirmed, so we’d ask the driver of the car described to get in touch.
“If you have any information that may assist officers with their investigation, then please contact police via 101 quoting reference number 1100 of Sunday, 16 April 2023. Alternatively, details can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
