Penrith edge Warriors, strengthen grip on top spot

Penrith have opened a significant buffer at the top of the NRL ladder, seeing off the Warriors despite missing the majority of their State of Origin stars in a nail-biting 20-18 win.

The Panthers are now four points clear of the second-placed Warriors after NSW debutant Casey McLean bagged two tries at CommBank Stadium.
