Penneys in The Square Tallaght opens in the morning and it's arrival has been decades in the making.
Dublin Live went along this evening to have a sneak peek inside the long-awaited 43,000 sqft store and on first impression it definitely looks like all we've been waiting for! With our shopping bag in hand we took it all in and here's what you can expect.
The doors will open to the public at 10.30am tomorrow morning, Thursday, September 15 and for those familiar with the space, forget what you know. It's undergone a complete transformation and looks bigger and more spacious than ever.

As you walk in the door you're giving the option to head left to the women's section or right to the men's and children's section. If you instead choose to walk straight ahead you'll be heading toward the Nails at Penneys and beauty section.
We're all aware that Penneys is the perfect place for choice and you won't be disappointed in its new location at The Square! All the latest fashions added to stores were available and there were plenty of sizes to choose from.
I spent a fair bit of time in the baby and kids section as I have a toddler and I found a great selection in both style and sizes, even more so than I normally do at other Penneys stores. While it wasn't as busy as it will be upon its grand opening tomorrow, I hope that's something that will continue over time.
And of course the pyjamas section was another important part of my visit and I can confirm that there are plenty of warm sets with cute styles ready for the colder nights ahead - you'll find it at the back of the store. The accessories section is also located beside it and there was loads to choose from.
The home section had lots of lovely bits for the house and I have to say it was very hard to not buy several the bed sets, they're gorgeous! Even the men's section is really well laid out with loads of styles that the lads in Tallaght are sure to be sporting.
Penneys opens at The Square Tallaght tomorrow at 10.30am, make sure you don't miss it.
