Every NFL team wants playmaking safeties who can not only patrol the deep parts of the field in zone coverage, but also lock up with top pass-catchers 1-on-1.
That’s why Penn State’s Jaquan Brisker should be one of the first off the board in the 2022 NFL draft, as his playmaking ways have made him on of the nation’s best safeties when locked up in man coverage.
Brisker didn’t allow a single reception in 110 man coverage snaps last season (per Pro Football Focus).
Don’t be surprised if Brisker hears his name called in the first round.
