Penn State fraternity student, who once made the dean’s list, accused of leading cocaine ring at university

Agostino Abbatiello, 24, and fellow defendant Thomas Robinson, 24, are facing allegations that they ran a cocaine trafficking operation at Pennsylvania State University, with Abbatiello allegedly serving as the “ringleader.” Abbatiello has since turned himself in and was denied bail as investigators continue working to determine the full extent of the operation and identify all of its alleged co-conspirators.

Announcing the unsealing of a grand jury presentment, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday detailed what prosecutors described as a massive criminal enterprise operating directly out of the Delta Upsilon and Sigma Chi fraternity houses. According to People, unsuspecting pledges were allegedly forced to cut and package narcotics as part of their initiation.
