Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi recently offered advice to Democrats in anticipation of President Donald Trump's upcoming address to both chambers of Congress. Pelosi suggested that Democrats should refrain from outward displays of disagreement during the speech, advising them to let Trump 'stew in his own juice' without providing any fodder for criticism.
President Trump is scheduled to deliver an address before Congress at 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, marking his first speech to Congress since returning to the Oval Office in January. While similar to the State of the Union, this speech does not carry the same official title due to Trump's absence from office in the previous year.
