Chelsea look close to completing the signings of Wesley Fofana, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Anthony Gordon. But, while the Leicester City defender's arrival is highly anticipated, Todd Boehly has faced backlash from sections of the Blues fanbase for targeting the Barcelona striker and the Everton winger.
football.london understand that the west Londoners submitted a £22million bid for Aubameyang on Wednesday evening. It's said that Chelsea are very confident that the Spanish giants will accept their latest proposal.
Tuchel is eager to reunite with the Gabon international, who prospered under the German's stewardship at Borussia Dortmund. Meanwhile, on Gordon, football.london understand that Chelsea are still in talks with the Toffees over a move for the winger.

According to The Athletic, the Blues have now had three bids in the region of £40million, £45million and £60million rejected for Gordon's services. Boehly, the west Londoners' interim sporting director, is understood to want to include a handful of players in a potential deal in order to reach Everton's full valuation.
Therefore, if all goes to plan, Chelsea could spend at least £82million on Gordon and Aubameyang. But, for just £8million more, Boehly could sign Pedro Neto and Ivan Toney instead - on top of Fofana...
Pedro Neto - £50million
Pedro Neto has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer, though it seems that an exit from Molineux is unlikely. Nonetheless, it's a deal Chelsea should pursue instead of Gordon.
According to a report from Portuguese outlet O'Jogo, the Gunners have 'no chance' of prising the 22-year-old away from Wolves, with Bruno Lage's side extremely keen to keep the forward at the club for at least one more season. It is said that the chance of Neto completing a move this summer 'is almost nil'.
Wolves have set an asking price of £50million for Neto this summer, according to Sun journalist Daniel Cutts. However, he's valued closer to €30million (£25million) by CIES football observatory.
Ivan Toney - £40million
Chelsea are said to have locked horns with Manchester United and Everton for the signing of Ivan Toney as Tuchel looks to bolster his frontline. The 26-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a move away from Brentford in recent times, with Arsenal once said to have been leading the transfer race.
But, with Boehly in the market for a talisman, the Blues look poised to sting Thomas Frank's Premier League survival hopes. According to the Mirror, Chelsea are weighing up a bid for Toney, and the Bees are bracing themselves for offers before the summer window slams shut.
The report adds that Tuchel could push to sign two number nines, with the west Londoners looking to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. But, as it stands, the arrival of the former Arsenal captain seems more likely even if Toney is better suited.
Though there is one factor which could tempt Chelsea into prioritising a deal for Toney over Aubameyang, the £40million-rated striker has been likened to Didier Drogba by his Brentford teammates in the past.
