With just seven days remaining in the transfer window it's shaping up to be a busy week for Arsenal.
Edu has already overseen the signings of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and Marquinhos, while as many as 31 players have left the club in one form or another. The next person to join that list is Nicolas Pepe after the Gunners agreed a deal for loan move with Nice that football.london understands does not include an option to buy.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles could meanwhile also be on his way out of the club. football.london revealed that Arsenal have the option to extend the England international's contract by a year, meaning that they could send him out on loan this season, although a permanent transfer remains the preference with Southampton among the teams interested.

With that in mind it seems as though Mikel Arteta could be on the lookout for a central midfielder and a forward as he seeks to form a squad capable of challenging on multiple fronts this season. The two main names linked to the club in this sense have been Youri Tielemans of Leicester and Wolves' Pedro Neto.
Our Arsenal correspondents Kaya Kaynak and Tom Canton discuss why there are some doubts over the Neto deal and the likelihood of a bid for Tielemans in the first episode of football.london 's new The Arsenal Way Podcast. The brand new pod will be a weekly show featuring in-depth discussions on all things Gunners.
The pair also discussed Arsenal's start to the season and how far this current group can go before previewing Saturday's match with Fulham.
