Pedestrian dies after being hit by car as major motorway closes both ways

A PEDESTRIAN has died after being hit by a car on the M8 motorway, leading to the road being closed in both directions.

Emergency services were called to the motorway near Junction 29 and Junction 30 in Paisley at around 11.45pm on Sunday following reports of a pedestrian being hit by a car.
