A woman aged in her 60s has been hospitalised following a crash between a car and a pedestrian in Co Kildare.
The incident happened at Poplar Square in Naas Co Kildare at 4:45pm on Wednesday. A car collided with a female pedestrian and she was brought to Tallaght Hospital for her injuries to be treated.
It understood that these injuries are non-life threatening. A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a traffic collision that occurred at approximately Poplar Square, Naas, Co Kildare at approximately 4:45pm on Wednesday, 19 October 2022.

"A car collided with a pedestrian in the course of this incident. A woman aged in her 60s was conveyed to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained as a result of this collision.
"The road involved in this collision is currently open for use."
