Peaky Blinders star Charlene McKenna is set to star in a new RTE crime drama, Clean Sweep.
The ShinAwiL production has started filming and the Monaghan native, who plays Shelly, was spotted riding a bike next to The Dargle River wearing a beanie hat.
Clean Sweep is a family crime series told from the point-of-view of a killer who has spent nearly twenty years hiding in plain sight, living a secret life as a wife, mother, and home-maker.

The thriller is being made in partnership with Los Angeles-based Element 8 Entertainment and is set in the west of Ireland in which a Garda detective, played by The Fall actor Barry Ward, hunts for a murderer, never suspecting that his wife is actually the guilty party.
It had been scheduled to shoot in 2021 but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It comes just weeks after Charlene said ‘I do’ for the second time to her Ozark star hubby Adam Rothenberg.
The actress married the American star in an intimate lockdown ceremony at Castle Leslie in her home county of Monaghan in January last year, with just six guests in attendance due to pandemic restrictions.
And the famous pair returned to the luxurious location this month to do it all over again - this time with all of their family and friends there to celebrate.
