Peak will get its final biome this year and a couple of updates "that address some commonly requested features," dev confirms while teasing a brand new project "that I'm still gatekeeping"

Aggro Crab has released a video detailing its 2026 plans for Peak – with one final biome set to drop this year – and beyond with a new game teaser.

In the video an Aggro Crab representative (in Peak character form) reaffirms that "major Peak updates are going to be less frequent in 2026," but that the studio still has "a couple in the works right now that address some commonly requested features" – although we can't know what the features are because "I don't want to tell you yet."

And after the updates, the team wants to "start working on the final biome for Peak." Not much was revealed about the area except that it will swap with Caldera during runs and that the team is "pretty excited for what we have in mind." However, they warn, "don't expect these updates to come super fast this year."

The video confirmed that the studio's upcoming forklift-based multiplayer game, Crashout Crew, is set to release this year, saying, "We're almost finished with this game, so hang tight with news about its release." They explain, "Peak allowed us the space to just shoot the shit with games we're making, so we're not in a rush to release Crashout Crew until we're ready; that's why it doesn't have a date yet."

It was also confirmed that Aggro Crab is working on "secret things," with a very blurry screenshot shown. The screenshot has a blue background and what looks like rocks and greenery, and it could very well be an expansion or sequel to Another Crab's Treasure, but it is too unclear to tell. The video closes saying, "it's only January, and we already have a bunch of stuff planned for this year that I'm still gatekeeping," which could mean more surprises outside of the ones featured here are in store.

Peak's lead wants to keep its game "jam-like spirit" for future updates.
