Peacock to stream next-day NBC, Bravo shows in move away from Hulu

The Real Housewives will strut over to Peacock.

Beginning Sept. 19, Peacock will be the new streaming home for NBC and Bravo shows the day after they air on TV, the network announced Wednesday.

That includes the “Law & Order” and “One Chicago” franchises, “Saturday Night Live,” “La Brea,” “Young Rock,” “The Voice” and “America’s Got Talent,” as well as Bravo reality favorites like “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” “Winter House” and “Below Deck Med.”

Many of those shows currently air next day on Hulu, which is partially owned by NBC, but are being slowly moved off the streamer.

“We are excited to provide Peacock customers with a comprehensive destination for streaming the incredible programming airing on NBC and Bravo all year long,” Kelly Campbell, president of Peacock and NBCUniversal direct-to-consumer, said in a statement.

Along with the move, Peacock is offering a special deal for new premium subscribers through the end of September: $1.99 a month or $19.99 for a year; subscriptions are typically $4.99 a month with ads or $9.99 without.

The new next-day shows will join existing Peacock offerings like “The Resort,” “Bel-Air,” “One of Us is Lying,” “Angelyne” and “Dr. Death,” as well as upcoming shows such as “Vampire Academy” and “Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin.”

The streaming service also has a long list of movies hitting its homepage this fall, including “Jurassic World Dominion,” “Minions: The Rise of Gru,” “Nope” and “Meet Cute.”
