NEW DELHI: In a sudden turn of events, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sent a proposal to the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) that India can play their Asia Cup matches at a neutral venue while Pakistan and other competing teams play in the host country, according to PCB chief Najam Sethi.
The Asia Cup was allotted to Pakistan and was scheduled in September this year but BCCI secretary Jay Shah, who is also the ACC chairman, had announced last October that India will not travel to Pakistan due to the tense political relations between the two countries.
