Former Hearts boss Paulo Sergio threatened to rip a fan’s “eyes out” in an angry confrontation.

Sergio explained the altercation afterwards, saying: “There was a fan who was shouting at me more than the others. He has every right to shout and tell me to leave.
“Now to offend me in front of my eyes, you have to be a little careful, because tomorrow, we could see each other in the street and things could end badly.”
Sergio is revered in Gorgie after masterminding their 5-1 Scottish Cup final demolition of rivals Hibs in 2012. However, money worries under Vladimir Romanov meant that was his last game in charge of the Jambos and he left the following summer.
