Paulo Dybala is a transfer target for Liverpool according to reports in Italy.
The Juventus star is out of contract in the summer so is free to talk to other clubs from this month, with talks over a renewal on hold.
The Serie A giants were close to agreeing an extension with the Argentine international but negotiations have been put on hold until the end of the transfer window.
Juve were ready to offer a €10million per season contract but Dybala's recent injury record has raised doubts in the club hierarchy, with CEO Maurizio Arrivabene publicly stating that they expect more from the player known as La Joya.
Inter are believed to be ready to swoop in with an offer to take him to San Siro, with general manager Beppe Marotta the man who took him to Turin from Palermo in the first place.
But both TuttoMercatoWeb and Sportitalia are reporting an approach from Liverpool.
Dybala is free to negotiate with the English Premier League side and is believed to be intrigued by the notion of a move to Anfield.
However, he has always stated that his preference would be to stay in Turin and will await the February meeting with Juventus before making any decision.
The news could also raise doubts about the future of Mohamed Salah, with the Egyptian out of contract in 2023.
Though they are different kinds of players, Dybala is also a left-footed attacker who likes to come in from the right and shoot.
