Paul Thomas Anderson lines up epic film as One Battle After Another follow-up

• Oscar-winning director Paul Thomas Anderson has selected the project for his next feature film following the success of his acclaimed adaptation One Battle After Another .
• Longtime collaborator Jonny Greenwood confirmed that Anderson is gaining momentum on the project, revealing that he is already learning a new instrument central to the film's score.
• Although official details remain unconfirmed, speculation centres on a long-rumoured 1940s jazz epic set in Los Angeles, which actors Denzel Washington and Tiffany Haddish have previously discussed with the filmmaker.
• Anderson has also expressed a strong desire to collaborate once again with Benicio del Toro , who previously featured in Inherent Vice and One Battle After Another .
