Paul Scholes admitted he was 'not too sure what to take' from David De Gea's vague response to speculation over his Manchester United future.
De Gea's current deal at United is set to expire this summer, with the club opting against a 12-month extension in a bid to lower his £375,000-per-week wages. Talks have been ongoing for some time, and despite initial confidence from both sides that an agreement can be reached, progress has been rare.
In the build-up to United's Europa League quarter-final first leg against Sevilla, the 32-year-old was asked about his future. "I want to enjoy my football and to win trophies this season, my focus is only on the next game and then after that we will see,” he said.
