Paul O'Grady has been supported by fans as he gave an update on the future of For the Love of Dogs.
Taking to Instagram, he admitted that he had a bit of a health scare, fearing that he may have caught covid as he travelled to London to catch up with a friend. However, he insisted that he is now feeling better and will commence filming at Battersea next week.
The former drag act star shared a selfie of him sitting alongside Linda Thorson. His 74-year-old friend is best known for playing Tara King in The Avengers.

Paul captioned the selfie: "Went up to that London (as they say on Coronation St) for lunch with my old pal Linda Thorson. The food was mediocre but the company was great.
"Two days later I started to feel lousy with fever, breathlessness, tiredness the whole kit and caboodle. I’ve tested neg and I’m over it so back filming at Battersea next week. Belated Happy Mayday or Beltane if you’re in the know. #lindathorson #beltane."
Fans rushed to wish the Birkenhead-born comedian well in the comments. Jo said: "So happy to hear you are feeling better. Happy to hear that you are filming at Battersea looking forward to that. Looking forward to you coming back on to the radio soon."
Andrew said: "Happy Beltane. Glad you feel better, can’t wait for Battersea to be back. You are missed on Radio 2 Paul." Caroline said: "Glad you're feeling better. Can't wait for the next series. xx"
