Paul Merson has claimed two signings could make Liverpool Premier League title contenders once again after a tough season.

The Arsenal legend believes England duo Mason Mount and Jude Bellingham could transform Jurgen Klopp's starting XI.

Liverpool are currently languishing in sixth place and will not lift a trophy this campaign. That's not something Reds fans have been used to under Klopp. Indeed, his side came within a whisker of winning an unprecedented quadruple last season.
