Paul Hollywood has been accused of having more affairs while married by his ex-wife Alex, in a bombshell Instagram post on Valentine's Day.
The 55-year-old Great British Bake Off judge saw his 20-year marriage end in 2017 after he had admitted to cheating on his wife in 2013 with TV chef Marcela Valladolid, who stars on the US version of Bake Off.
After the breakdown of his marriage, Paul then began dating barmaid Summer Monteys-Fullam, a relationship which also ended in acrimony.
Alex spoke out on Instagram on Monday as she addressed her relationship with the TV baker with devastating effect.
She claimed that Paul had cheated on her more than once, writing that their marriage was “over seasoned with extra marital affairs”.
Addressing her 19,000 followers, Alex wrote: "It’s taken me a while to get here and it hasn’t been easy, but I love the woman I am now.
“I know only too well that not every marriage/partnership is a recipe for happiness and success.
“My own marriage was too over seasoned with extra marital affairs for my taste and so I opted out and chose the single menu instead. It wasn’t easy and it took some getting used to.
“I wasn’t even sure I liked it much at first, but as I regained my confidence, my freedom and myself after so long, I discovered that it really isn’t a cliché to say happiness really does comes from within.”
Alex went on to say that she is now happy with the single life and has dismissed a number of offers of a relationship .
She continued: "I still get the occasional well-meaning comment — that I’ll get ‘snapped up soon’ rather like a supermarket meal deal. People don’t like to believe that a woman can be happier single.”
The affair with Marcela led to Alex kicking Paul out but the couple reconciled and were together for a few more years before their marriage was over for good in 2017.
Alex has also disputed claims made by Paul that he only started his relationship with Summer after he had split from his ex-wife.
The Mirror has contacted Paul's representatives for comment but they have not responded.
