Paul Cattermole was a gifted psychic in his final years and offered tarot reading from his home in Dorset.
The 46-year-old S Club 7 star's death was announced yesterday and tributes have poured in from fans and celebrity fans for the talented musician.
But Paul was also a psychic, clairvoyant and spirit coach, who first found he had the gift when he started "seeing things" while in his early 20s.
At first he worried fans would think he was "crazy" for exploring the spiritual realm.
But eventually Paul found the courage to offer tarot readings online and before his death he was charging £39.95 for a 20-minute reading.
Last year, Paul revealed how he discovered his psychic skills while working in Los Angeles with S Club 7 in his twenties.
"I got it quite late in life, I got it in my early 20s, which having discussed it with lots of psychics, that’s actually quite late to get it," he said on The Andy Jaye Podcast.
"It was always there but I wasn’t aware of it. It was actually when I was working in LA that I was first aware of it.
"It came to me and I thought, ‘If I discuss this people will think I’m going to be crazy’.
"Talking to people who have passed away is another one of the things, it’s another skill within that zone."
Paul admitted that he was "seeing things" that he discovered were "intuitive downloads" from the universe.
"So it really came on strong when I was like 22, 23… but then later, in my early 30s it came on strong again," he said.
"I never got the thing like I was hearing voices, but I was seeing things.
"It’s described as intuitive downloads from the universe. Just things, ideas, memories – maybe other people’s memories – just come rushing into you.
"Or came rushing into me at these sort of two different points in time."
In recent years Paul did a course in tarot reading and his tutor named him a psychic detective.
"The main work of a psychic detective is psychometry – being able to hold objects and know what has happened with them, what has been done with them, being able to look at photos and getting a sense of what has happened post, hence and pre the photo being taken," he explained.
Paul was offering tarot readings on his TikTok channel up until November last year.
In February he reunited with S Club 7 to announce the band's reunion tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
