There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of S Club 7 star Paul Cattermole, according to reports. The shock death of the 46-year-old singer was announced yesterday just weeks after the band announced plans for a reunion tourt.
Paul's cause of death has not yet been announced after his body was discovered at his £172,000 home in Dorset. But according to the Mirror, there are "no suspicious circumstances" surrounding the death.
A statement released by his family read: "It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon."
Following Paul's unexpected death, S Club 7 paid tribute to their bandmate and said there "are no words" to describe their loss.
The statement from the band read: "We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.
"He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time."
The death of the musician comes just weeks after the group announced plans for a reunion tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary later this year.
Keen psychic Paul had recently told reporters he had consulted tarot cards about what the future held for him and the band.
Speaking at an S Club 7 press conference, he said: "I saw wheel of fortune - that's good, that's good luck. I genuinely did look at the cards."
It is unclear if the October tour will go ahead following the singer's death.
