Paul Cattermole's cause of death confirmed after S Club 7 star's body found at home

It has been confirmed that Paul Cattermole died of natural causes, after the S Club 7 star's body was found at his home in April.

Announcing the 46-year-old's passing, a statement from his family read: " "It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole.

"Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon. While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances."

His devastated S Club 7 bandmates, who were all looking forward to doing their reunion tour laster in the year, also released a statement, saying: "We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have."

They added: "He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time."

Now, Dorset Coroner's Service has finished investigating Paul's death and confirmed he died of natural causes and no inquest into the singer's death will take place.

At the weekend, S Club posted an emotional video on Instagram, sharing their memories of Paul and also revealing that Hannah Spearitt would no longer be taking part in the upcoming tour.
