The New England Patriots try to put an end to a three-game losing streak in Sunday’s road clash with the New York Giants.
It has been a sinking ship since the start of the season for the 2-8 Patriots. Not only have they dealt with the injury bug, but there have been questionable coaching decisions, bad quarterback play and inadequate offensive talent.
Things have been so bad that coach Bill Belichick still hasn’t made a decision on who’s starting at quarterback against the Giants. Granted, there’s always the possibility that he knows the answer and hasn’t chosen to share it with the rest of the world.
Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe reportedly split the starting reps throughout the week. So there really wasn’t anything to take away from practice in regards to how things will play out on Sunday.
Here’s the full round-up of Patriots Wire staff picks for the Week 12 matchup:
Jordy McElroy (4-6) – Patriots 17, Giants 14
Danny Jaillet (9-1) – Patriots 13, Giants 19
Cam Garrity (5-5) – Patriots 10, Giants 6
Michael Braithwaite (4-6) – Patriots 17, Giants 25
Who are you picking in Sunday’s game? Can the Patriots defense lead the way to victory when facing backup quarterback Tommy DeVito and a struggling Giants offensive line? Will it be Jones or Zappe starting under center for New England?
