The New England Patriots signed defensive tackle Bill Murray to a reserve/future contract on Monday afternoon.
Murray has been a member of the Patriots since 2020 and he’s spent his time on the practice squad. He joined the team as an undrafted free agent out of William and Mary. He has not seen a snap in the NFL, but he did see action in all three preseason games last summer. The 24-year-old recorded four tackles and one and a half sacks during that time.
Murray becomes the ninth player to sign a future contract with the Patriots since the end of their season.

Another year for Murray in their system, so he’s got that going for him, which is nice.

As New England looks to continue to patch up certain areas of personnel, Murray certainly brings familiarity and experience to the table.
