The New England Patriots selected University of Michigan offensive guard Andrew Stueber with the 245th overall pick in Round 7 of the 2022 NFL draft.
The 6-foot-7, 325-pound offensive lineman spent most of his time playing tackle in his collegiate career, but projects to be a guard at the NFL level and has some starting experience at that position. His technique needs a fair amount of work, but his size and strength make it tough for defenders to pass him.
Stueber caps off the 2022 Patriots draft class: Chattanooga guard Cole Strange (29th overall), second-rounder receiver Tyquan Thornton (50th), third-round cornerback Marcus Jones (85th), fourth-round cornerback Jack Jones (121st), fourth-round running back Pierre Strong (127th), fourth-round quarterback Bailey Zappe (137th), sixth-round running back Kevin Harris (183rd), sixth-round defensive tackle Sam Roberts (200th), sixth-round offensive guard Chasin Hines (210th) and Stueber (245th).
