The annual NFL Players Association report cards were released Wednesday and it revealed that New England Patriots players appeared to sour on former coach Bill Belichick.
Belichick was given a rank of B- overall and ranked 27th among the 32 NFL coaches. Only 55% of players feel that Belichick was efficient with their time and players felt that Belichick was rarely willing to listen to the locker room. In both of those respective categories, he ranked 31st among his peers.
The only coach to rank worse than Belichick in those two categories is former protégé and Patriots assistant coach Josh McDaniels. McDaniels was fired from his position as coach of the Las Vegas Raiders this past season and his report card made it clear he completely lost the locker room. He was given a grade of D, and ranked last in all three of those categories.

After finishing 4–13 this past season, New England parted ways with Belichick and the longtime coach was not hired by another franchise during the offseason.
