As if the season couldn’t get any more embarrassing for the New England Patriots.
On Thursday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the league is flexing the Patriots’ scheduled “Monday Night Football” game against the Kansas City Chiefs from Dec. 18 to Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. ET.
The game that will be replacing the Patriots and Chiefs matchup will be the NFC showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks. It’s an understandable move by the league considering the Patriots haven’t put up much of a fight this season, especially on the offensive side of the ball.
They have the second-worst scoring offense in the league behind the same New York Giants team that beat them in Week 12 by a 10-7 margin.
💪 💪 The first Monday Night Flex ever: The #Eagles and #Seahawks will now play on MNF in Seattle in Week 15. The game moves to Dec. 18, from Dec. 17.

The Chiefs are a Super Bowl contender and one of the best teams in the NFL.
It’s hard to envision anyone wanting to see a tanking football team go head-to-head with Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champions. For the first time in a long time, the Patriots aren’t good for business.
