Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira says there is no time for Crystal Palace to feel sorry for themselves after losing against Chelsea on Sunday in the FA Cup semi-final.
The Eagles suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Blues following second-half goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount and face a quick turnaround for their Premier League trip to Newcastle on Wednesday night. Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday morning, the Frenchman said he would be paying close attention to how his players reacted after Sunday’s defeat.
“There is a massive disappointment but we don’t have time to feel sorry for ourselves,” said Vieira. “We have to find the strength and motivation to go again. I expect an answer from the players and I will put a lot of focus on that.”
