Jesse Marsch's Leeds United picked up consecutive clean sheets for the first time this season on Monday night, as the Whites drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. It was a committed display from Leeds' defence but the home side still threatened Illan Meslier's goal on several occasions and the Frenchman had to pull off smart saves from Wilfried Zaha and Connor Gallagher's efforts.
Palace manager and compatriot of Meslier, Patrick Vieira was asked about the Leeds goalkeeper's performance after the game. He told the press: "I think he’s still a young player, a French Under-21 with a lot of potential.
"He’s playing in a team in the Premier League that will allow him to grow as a player and now it is up to him to what he will do every day to reach his potential."
