Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes reflected on the challenges he has faced during this season, admitting that it has been one of the most difficult of his career. The statistics suggest a downturn for Mahomes, as the Chiefs lost six games, including five in an eight-week stretch. Additionally, Mahomes had visible displays of frustration directed at teammates and officials on the sidelines.
The young quarterback acknowledged that dealing with adversity and not achieving the same level of success as in previous seasons has been a significant challenge. However, he also mentioned that, fortunately, he has not had to contend with the same extent of injuries as before. Mahomes recognized that not winning all the games and not putting up big stats has been an adjustment for him.
