Patrick Mahomes fascinatingly compared his playing style to how lawyers operate in the courtroom

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes used a fascinating analogy to describe his style of play after winning a third Super Bowl on Sunday.

When someone in Monday’s media pool asked Mahomes about matching his “innovative” and “unpredictable” playing style to something not football-related, the Chiefs quarterback compared himself to a lawyer.

“Something like a top-tier lawyer,” Mahomes answered. “Someone that has to think on his feet, execute at the right time and deal with high-pressure situations.”

While something like a surgeon or a stunt performer would’ve made a ton of sense, a lawyer is a much more interesting answer for Mahomes to give about his quarterback style.

Mahomes is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game for a reason, and it’s always great to hear him talk about his process and how he sees himself as a player.

We’re guessing Mahomes would be as good of a lawyer as he is a quarterback, if only because some people just don’t do anything but win. He really seems to be one of those people.
