The Cincinnati Bengals came up during Super Bowl media sessions at least once, the most notable courtesy of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Mahomes, asked by 11-year-old NFL Network reporter Jeremiah Fennell to do a fantasy draft that doesn’t include Chiefs players, picked three wide receivers from the all-time pool:
- Randy Moss
- Tyreek Hill
- Ja’Marr Chase
That’s a huge nod for Chase, even though he had that “anybody but the Chiefs” comment about the Super Bowl this year.
Kidding aside, the Chiefs-Bengals rivalry has usually had a ton of respect around it, especially from the quarterbacks. Mahomes also name-dropped Joe Burrow in a good way after a playoff game recently.
