Tottenham Hotspur have endured an extremely difficult week, to say the least.
The LIlywhites recorded their first Premier League home loss to local rivals Arsenal in nine years last Sunday, losing 2-0 as goalkeeper Hugo Lloris bundled the ball into his own net for the Gunners opener. Things then went from bad to worse just four days later at the Etihad Stadium when Spurs lost 4-2 to Manchester City despite leading 2-0 at half-time.
Antonio Conte's side will be keen to quickly bounce back if they want to secure a top-four finish, currently sitting six points behind third-placed Newcastle United and fourth-placed Manchester United. Next up for the north Londoners is a match against Marco Silva's Fulham tonight, with the Cottagers just two points behind following a superb start to the 2022/23 campaign.
