Patna: Police use lathis & water cannons on Jan Adhikar Party workers

Raj Bhavan Gandhi Maidan

PATNA: Police used water cannons and batons to disperse Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) workers who broke through barricades near Gandhi Maidan and attempted to march towards the Raj Bhavan on Monday.

JAP chief and former MP Pappu Yadav led the demonstration against “rising crime, corruption, unemployment, and atrocities against women”.
