Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney has been showered with immense praise by former Chelsea and Scotland winger Pat Nevin, who believes that the 24-year-old is 'good enough to join any club in the world.'
Since arriving in north London back in the summer 2019 transfer window, Tierney has been a consistent performer for Arsenal, giving the team natural width on the left flank and delivering excellent final-third quality.
With manager Mikel Arteta recently making a slight tweak to the left-side dynamics, over the past two months the former Celtic defender has been given great responsibility in the build-up phases and has started to grow into this new role.

This has led to Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti reportedly monitoring his situation and the Italian is said to be interested in bringing Tierney to the Bernabeu in the upcoming window, with Nevin arguing that he would have no problems in slotting into the Spanish giants' first team.
"If he did join Real Madrid then I’m convinced he would have no problem fitting in there: he wouldn’t need time to settle or adjust,” he said. "Kieran’s good enough to join any club in the world and hit the ground running.
"Andy Robertson is a fabulous full-back so I’m not criticising him in any way when I say that Kieran is the better all-round player of the two.
"It’s probably the first time since Kenny Dalglish and Graeme Souness in the 1980s when we’ve had two Scots capable of playing for the best teams around."
Tierney's current deal runs out in 2026 so if Real Madrid do have any plans in signing the Scotland international on a permanent deal, they will have to pay big money to secure his services.
