A family-of-three said they were "abandoned" in Turkey after their TUI flight was delayed when the pilot and flight crew told passengers they needed a rest.
Passengers on board the TOM269 flight from İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Manchester Airport which was delayed until Wednesday morning (July 6) were asked to leave the plane and transfer to a hotel until the flight could be rearranged after the pilot made the announcement.
One passenger, who asked not to be named, said the flight back to Manchester had already been delayed by more than four hours before they were told they would not be departing Turkey as planned.
