Passengers forced to evacuate Leeds Bradford Airport yet again after 'another fire alarm'

Holidaymakers were evacuated again from Leeds Bradford Airport after a fire alarm was set off according to reports from passengers flying at the airport today.

Displeased passenger David Fergus said his flight back from Vilnius was delayed by over an hour due to the alarm.

This comes only days after hundreds of people were forced to leave the building and wait outside in the scorching weather on June 20 for over an hour (Monday).

Following the evacuation this afternoon, another social media user confirmed that the airport had been evacuated.

David told LeedsLive : “My flight back from Vilnius was delayed by a hour - cabin crew said it was due to ANOTHER fire alarm at LBA today!”

u/Simowl shared on Reddit: “Everyone's favourite airport has had to evacuate because of a fire alarm again.”

Leeds Bradford Airport has been approached for a comment.
