A passenger whose necklace was stolen on a bus has stated the driver who retrieved it "didn’t deserve" to be sacked.

Mark Hehir, 62, was dismissed by Metroline after he pursued a thief who had snatched jewellery from his passenger, Katalin Kaszas.
