Pascal Struijk delivers honest Leeds United verdict after 'hard' Tottenham Hotspur drubbing

Pascal Struijk knows that Leeds United need to improve after their 4-0 drubbing against Tottenham Hotspur.

The result means the Whites have conceded the most goals in a Premier League calendar month in February, after a dismal run of results.

Marcelo Bielsa's side have conceded 20 goals in just five games, an average of four per game, leading to further questions about his future at Elland Road.

The torrid run of form has seen Leeds plummet towards the relegation zone and they're in serious trouble.

Speaking to after the final whistle, Struijk said: "Yeah, of course, conceding so many goals and losing every game this big, it's never fun for anyone.

"It's been hard. The results are not very good which is really hard to take and going into the next game you have to keep belief.

"Try and keep going, but when you're not getting it right and results it's hard."

When asked whether the Whites need to alter their approach to games, Struijk said: "It's difficult [to keep playing the same way] but it's what we believe in and we have to stick to that.

"Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Looking over the last few games it hasn't. We just need to improve and keep going."
