A number of soloists will play their part in that including Gwynedd's Sir Bryn Terfel. He will be joined by soprano Pretty Yende; and baritone, Roderick Williams

Whilst as part of that Fanfares will be played by The State Trumpeters of the Household Cavalry and The Fanfare Trumpeters of the Royal Air Force. Completing that aspect is the organ that will be played by the Abbey's Sub-Organist, Peter Holder whilst before the service it will be played by the Assistant Organist, Matthew Jorysz.

Sir Bryn Terfel is not the only Welsh star named in the Coronation music as Paul Mealor from Saint Asaph will be creating a new work for the event. Also creating new works is Sarah Class, Nigel Hess, Tarik O'Regan, Roxanna Panufnik, Shirley Thompson, Judith Weir, Roderick Williams and Debbie Wiseman.

Also amongst the new commissions is a Coronation Anthem by Andrew Lloyd Webber, a Coronation March by Patrick Doyle and a commission for solo organ by Iain Farrington. As part of the personal connections section of the music the Official Royal Harpist, Alis Huws, will perform as part of the Coronation Orchestra.

That is in recognition of The King’s long standing and "deeply held" relationship and affiliation with Wales. Alongside that one of the liturgical sections of the ceremony will be performed in Welsh, with a second item including sections in three Celtic languages.

The King has also requested for Greek Orthodox music to feature in the service and it will be performed by the Byzantine Chant Ensemble in memory of his late father His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Completing the line-up is the choral music and that will see the Service sung by The Choir of Westminster Abbey and The Choir of His Majesty’s Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace. Alongside them will be the girl choristers from the Chapel Choir of Methodist College, Belfast, and from Truro Cathedral Choir.
