Parkview Health, the health system based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, has signed an agreement to acquire Ovation Healthcare, a Brentwood, Tennessee, company that works with more than 500 health care organizations in 48 states, Parkview announced Oct. 16. The price was not disclosed, Becker's Hospital Review reported.
Ovation provides leadership advisory, revenue cycle (billing), spend management (purchasing), and technology services. Its clients range from small critical access hospitals to large health systems and physician practices. The deal is expected to close in the coming weeks, subject to regulatory review and approvals.
