Paris Saint-Germain to meet Victor Osimhen agents and more Manchester United transfer rumours

Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos is set to meet with Victor Osimhen's representatives during the international break as the French giants look to rival Manchester United for a summer move, according to reports in France.

United hold a long-standing interest in Osimhen, who is in the form of his career at Napoli with 21 goals in 23 Serie A matches. Erik ten Hag is expected to go big for a world-class goalscorer come June, and while Harry Kane has been earmarked as the prime target, the Nigerian will not be far behind on the shortlist.

Osimhen's continued good form for Napoli, both domestically and in Europe, is seeing his stock rise week-on-week as interest grows across the continent. And according to Footmercato, PSG are the latest to rival United in a summer pursuit, with their chief Campos set to meet the striker's agents during the next fortnight.

The Portuguese official is said to have a good relationship with Osimhen's representatives, having been sporting director at Lille when they signed the striker from Belgian side Charleroi back in 2019. However, the report adds that PSG may be 'blocked' from signing the Napoli star due to Financial Fair Play constraints, with the Italian side said to be wanting around €150million (around £132million).

Elsewhere, Football Insider reports that United will accept an offer for Brandon Williams this summer with multiple clubs keen on signing the defender.

Williams was retained last summer after spending the 2021/2022 campaign on loan at Norwich City, but the 22-year-old has struggled for regular football thanks in part to a serious injury picked up last summer The left-back came off the bench in December's Carabao Cup clash against Burnley but has since only turned out for the under-21s.

A number of Championship clubs are said to be interested in the young defender, with the report stating United would be open to a season-long loan in a bid to see a career revived. Williams' current contract runs until 2024, with the option to extend that for a further 12 months.
