NEW DELHI: Manu Bhaker, the first female Indian shooter to win an Olympic medal at the current Paris Games, is a product of the athletic ecosystem fostered by the government's flagship Khelo India program, according to Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday.
Bhaker, with her bronze in the 10m air pistol, put India on the medal table for the Paris Games on Sunday, ending a 12-year medal drought for shooting at the quadrennial event.
