Paris Hilton has been left heartbroken as her dog has died at the age of 23.
The socialite, 42, has paid tribute to her late chihuahua Harajuku B*tch, who had been with her since 2000 and accompanied her for countless photoshoots and public appearances.
Sharing the news of her dog's passing, Paris told her followers on Instagram earlier: "Today, my heart breaks as I say goodbye to my precious chihuahua, Harajuku B*tch."
Alongside a series of photos, the reality TV star continued: "For an incredible 23 years, she filled my life with so much love, loyalty, and unforgettable moments."
Paris further commented in the caption that accompanied the photos: "She lived a long, beautiful and iconic life, surrounded by love until her final peaceful slumber."
She continued: "Words cannot express the immense pain I'm feeling right now. She was more than just a pet; she was family to me, a loyal friend who was always by my side through every twist and turn life brought my way.
"From the glitz and glamour to the quiet moments behind the scenes, she was always there, a tiny ball of love, brightening up even the darkest of days. We shared so many memories, laughter, and tears.
"Rest peacefully, my sweet darling. Thank you for blessing my life with your unconditional love. You will forever be my little angel, forever missed, and forever loved.
"You may be physically gone, but the imprint of your pawprints on my life will never fade.Rest gently, sweet friend, knowing that you will be cherished and missed always."
Paris concluded the caption by writing: "Love and miss you forever #TheOG Queen. #RIP."
The post prompted an outpouring of condolences, with Paris responding to one follower: "I am in so much pain that I am in shock. I had her so long, I can't believe she's gone".
She added in another comment that "the pain is unbearable". Paris told another follower underneath the post: "I am so sad. I have not felt this pain in a very long time".
Her sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild was among those who reacted to on the post. She took to the comments section earlier to share teary-eyed emojis in response.
The post prompted responses from some fellow celebrities, including actor Elle Fanning, who wrote in the comments: "An unbearable pain. Rest peacefully sweet baby".
