Test flights for flying taxis have been scrapped in Paris during the Olympics due to delays in the certification of the engine, said the venture's promoters. In the meantime, flight demonstrations with a passengerless prototype are being organised.
Flying taxis could whisk passengers across Paris or help with emergency medical care from December, operators said on Thursday, while acknowledging that the dream of showing off the scheme during the Paris Olympics was impossible.
