Parents have been warned to look out for a severe rash that can hit toddlers who are suffering from Covid.
Skin ailments as a result of the virus have been well documented, and in one in five cases are the only symptom according to experts.
Doctors at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal, described the case of a small boy whose skin broke out in a red blotchy rash. The 14-month-old was brought in by his parents who said he'd been suffering with a fever and vomiting for 48 hours - but had no rash at the time, reports The Sun.
