Christmas is just around the corner and for many children it's time to start delving into chocolates from their advent calendar.
However if you are like some and don't have one yet, or simply would rather have a 12-door than a 24 door, this nifty Christmas hack could be ideal for you - and you can do it every Christmas - not just this year.
Taking to Facebook's Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, one shopper told the 2.1 million members her nifty idea using an advent calendar mould.

She said: "Not really a bargain, but this could save someone a few pennies because I know free from range can cost a lot. I think it's such a good idea which may help someone out."
The post itself reads: "Idea for mums with little ones with allergies.
"I wanted to get my daughter a chocolate calendar this year but she has a milk allergy and all the 'free from' calendars were not very toddler friendly.
"So bought a Peppa one, undone the bottom, slid the tray out and ate the chocs and then refilled with free from chocolate! All ready for my Peppa mad baby girl on December 1."
The idea was adored by many parents, not only ones who have children with allergies, but also people who wanted to have their own chocolates and make it a fun project for their kids.
Flooding to the comments section one warned: "As a mum with a child with anaphylactic allergies, I agree this is a good idea however I’d be sure to wash the chocolate tray before putting new chocolate in just in case of any crumbs."
Another handy shopper suggested: "For next year - if you email the company they should send you a free empty one out for you to fill."
"Why have I never thought of this?!" a third wrote.
